Nightmares Gone Terribly Fucking Weird?!

          I recently(last night) had a very strange dream.It involved the smile Andy Biersack makeup, my crush, a van, glitter/powdery type skin flakes, aliens,my phone being called by the alien,and a bunch of other weird little things. My partner in crime(Bixie Willow) chatted with me on Meebo for an hour trying to figure it out. But still,I have no luck in this strange time. I'm sorry I haven't updated more but with school and my freaky ass dreams I kind of have no energy. As I'm writing this,my heart is beating incredibly fast just thinking about my dream. It's nighttime and I dread sleeping in my nightmare prone room.(I'm serious, I'm beginning to have the strangest nightmares!)

        Since I'm too shaken up to make a post that's half as good as I want it to be,I'll just ask you guys this: Have you ever had a nightmare/Dream that affected you immensely? And if so,what was the dream?Please PLEASE share your experience with me.I want to know what strange things people's brain's make them see at night! :D And if you could help me figure out my dream I'd really appreciate it!

The Alternative Challenge 2,3,and 4

            So since these are all going to be rather short I'm going to group them together.
                                                Here goes nothing:
              2.Share photo's and experiences of my early 'doom and gloom' days.
         Well I don't really have photo's now because I'm fairly new to the whole Alternative scene. Not new enough to where I'm thinking Well everyone says that Emo kids do this so I have to do it to,but new enough to the point where I have practically no pictures or experiences.
              Hmm.. any experiences I have.... well I recently saw one of my friends that I haven't talked to in awhile and she said "Are you goth now?" I told her no even though I think of myself as a mixture of weird,Emo,Punk,and Goth. I only have one more experience.I heard from friends that there were rumors going around the school that I cut myself.I can kind of see where people would think that because I always have a long jacket on.Whether I'm wearing long sleeves or not,whether its summer or winter,I always have a jacket on.Don't ask me;I don't know why,I just do.
                                         3.Coming out of the Dark Closet
             I never really came out per say.Like I said above,I'm fairly new to the Alternative World. My family doesn't really know what Emo or Goth is,they just think I'm weird.:D They're right!But seriously,as long as I continue to over achieve then they don't care if I wear black and listen to Screamo.My friends are smart enough to figure it out. Or at least most of them are.*shrugs*
                                  4.Name a stereotype or cliche you can relate to
             Reading:

• Horror books a night...but the strange thing is if I have a nightmare,I'll be scared as fuck while I'm experiencing it.But when I wake up I look around creeped out but pretty excited actually.
• Vampire books.Except twilight.Sorry but ,personally think she needs to get tougher... she's a wimp to me. But keep in mind that I am a very...rough person that isn't afraid to tell people my opinions(aka telling them off :D).

             Graveyards

• I seem to like graveyards even thought I've only been there for about 10 minutes at a time a month to visit a dead family member.The whole idea about a resting place for dead souls and allowing people to visit them after life just fascinates me.And of course I,being the strange girl I am,imagine the corpse's coming to life at night when only the truly brave dare enter the land of the dead.

• Ok I realize many of you are going to roll your eyes at me for this but I have shopped at Hottopic and besides the price,and it being mainstream,I don't really have anything wrong with it.Feel free to share your opinions in the comments below

The Goth(Alternative) Challenge Numero Uno!

          So now that I'm back on the computer I can finally get on to writing posts.My first post is to do the goth challenge originally made by Juliet's Lace,but I'm going to do it a little differently. Instead I am going to do an Emo/Alternative substitute to the goth challenge.So....let's get started.
                                            The Question:
                         How did you come across the subculture?
          I think the earliest time I can remember the alternative subculture is when I was like 6 or 7 and I was watching the movie "Scary Godmother" and eating carrots which reminded me of eating the head off of skinny pumpkins :)..........yeah I was a creepy little kid.Then In 3rd grade I had this really cool black and purple Gothic Japanese Spider Queen Costume complete with fishnet leggings and black and purple hair bows with spiders hanging on strings and I was really happy about it!I first learned about Emo when I was in 4th grade and thought this boy was cute.(No this is not one of those venting blog about about the one who got away!Just read on.....) So I started asking this girl about him and she said"He's Emo."
   Confused,I said"What's Emo mean?"
   "It means he cuts himself."
   "Oh" At that time I thought that was true but I now realize that it was wrong!Just because you're Emo doesn't mean you cut youself!You might be Emo and cut yourself but many other people cut and they're not Emo.Even though I thought he cut himself I still though he was cute.I'll give you a hint as to what his name is: the word Kill is in his name.I am not kidding.
              I came across the Goth subculture when I was about 10 online. Then I met my friend Bixie Willow who was goth and I learned quite a lot more about the Goth subculture.
                                  The End

        Hello and welcome back to my lovely blog. I realize that I have been gone a long LONG time but I would still like to apologize even if it doesn't make a difference.What have I been up to, you (don't) ask? Well I've mostly been reading aside from buying 70 dollars worth of cd's every time I go to the store. besides that,....not much until school started,which for me was last wednesday.
       I look forward to coming up with with new posts and being able to share my(not so) wonderful ideas with you.In fact, after this I'm going to write another post about the music i'm listening to nowadays.
       Well I suppose I have to go finish catching up with new youtube videos and bloggers more recent posts.*sigh*It just has to be done.

Sorry!I am not dead!

          Hey people!I am sorry! I am not dead! I just haven't been able to go on a computer!But hey(!), that's what friends are for right?!heheheh......Thank you Bixie Willow for letting me use her computer...........by the way,sorry Bixie for spray painting your your yard. Sorry!Update from yesterday's blog post and an announcement:(

            Well,this is embarrassing.It seems as if yesterday I specifically said,on yesterday's post,that I was going to make another post later that day and I never did.Sorry.The truth is,I actually didn't go walking.I went out then ate,then were to tired to walk so we just went to the mall(oh no!*I just lost major goth points!*yes the mall.no I am not a mallgoth,it's just that my mom doesn't really like thrift stores so I am trying to get my dad to take me to thrift stores..not working so far.)trying to find me some good black sandals!No success in case you were wondering.If you know a good mainstream store that has some nice sandals please tell me in the comments!
          So in a way,I guess I did go on a walk but not as long as I had feared.Oh,about the announcement; I am going to have less and less time on the computer during summer because it is actually my brothers,I don't have a computer,and he hogs it!And he is going to use it because he is coming home this summer(today in 30 minutes!), so I can't go on a lot.I will try to update frequently but sorry if I miss a few days.

My Relationship with Walking

      Hello readers.A little update on my day:I have to go on a several mile walk(probably 4 or 5 miles) in about 30 minutes or so.Just to let you know.....not that happy about it.I enjoy walking(with my friends)or when I have something to do while walking.But not when I have no music or no one to talk to.:(.When I do have music,I am most likely using my friends Ipod or  music player or whatever.But I actually don't have one myself and none of my friends are going to walk with me.My mom is taking me for a walk....yippee.*obviously sarcasm with a hint of laziness*and she doesn't have an Ipod(with music I like)but has a radio with all her favorite music on their. Her favorite music is Spanish music.I,on the other hand,am not too crazy about it.
      Anyways this blog post is basically to say that I want music while I'm doing something and I don't want to go walk in 25 minutes.Hope I didn't waste too much of your time today.(but if I did....hehehheheheh:)Have a better day than mines and I will write another post later on today when I get back.Good bye!

A Proper Introduction to Goth-toGoth

          I thought it only fair to introduce you to a site that I will be mentioning quite a lot.The site that I am talking about is Goth-to-Goth.It is owned by my good friend,Bixie Willow,and,frankly,is an awesome site.Bixie posts stories,crafts,"how to" stuff, news that is about goths,and,basically,just has a really cool site.Now what I don't get is why she has so little views and members.That is why I encourage you to check out her site right......here!Help us get some members and spread the word!
          I,like I said before,am friends with her and when we met she told me about this site she has. She told me"It's not much.Just a simple little website that is basically a blog." Really?!NO!When i checked the site out I was freakin' Amazed!!!!! It was so cool!Eventually as we become friends and I learned more and more about goth, she let me post and made me an official "Administrator" for the site! Which basically means I have the power to view Stats and post.
         But enough about me,(sorry! One Of the Most Beautiful Inspirational Songs Ever.......

        I really love this band called Black Veil Brides and I've been wanting to spread the word about this song. I finally can! I love blogging. I give credit to the people and videos that I use.This song is really beautiful; Sounding soft and sweet,but at the same time, sounding as if it has a hard rock edge with the guitar solos and Instrumentals. Whenever I feel bad I just scroll down my bookmarks and click on the link to that song.It really is inspirational.So,I have a challenge(well,more like two)for every one that sees this.
        First Challenge:Listen to the link I gave you.Then comment on your thoughts about it.And by comment I mean either nice comment(ex. i love this song!) or constructive criticism(ex.It could have had a better guitar solo but over all this song is so/so.).But absolutely  NO negative comments(I'm not going to give you an example....you know what those look like)! Introducing Alternative Ivy

        Hello!As you can tell from the blog's name,I am Ivy.I started this blog because I was on another website called Goth-to-Goth and I realized that I couldn't write everything that i wanted to because it's my friend's  site,not mine(just so you know,Bixie Willow is the friend I'm talking about).I am just an extra poster and would feel weird if I posted  more than she did.Also i had things to talk about that weren't even relative to what is posted there.But here in my own blog I can do whatever I want! I can talk about whatever alternative subculture comes to mind! Emo,Goth,Lolita,Punk,you name it! And if there's an alternative subculture that I haven't written a post about that you want to see,message me and I will research it and write a post about it!
        I am a younger goth,a babybat if you will,but that doesn't mean that i don't know what goth is.And yes, i consider myself emo as well,but i don't believe I'm "gemo". The title seems more like an insult than an actual alternative subculture.I also consider myself punk,but then again,i consider myself a lot of things.
